I’m Steven, a musculoskeletal pain-care therapist based in London. I work with jaw tension every day, and I can assure you: It’s not that you are doing anything wrong. The problem is that most standard TMJ exercises simply don’t work. That’s because they assume the jaw is the problem — and it almost certainly is not.
